Online shopping d00m
Jul. 9th, 2002 08:38 pmSo you'd think being down to a sensible size would make online shopping easier really, but it appears that I can't find anything that I want at a sensible price at the moment. And buying things which are expensive is right out, if they're not likely to fit for more than a couple of months. I'm right out of trousers which actually fit me any more (I've a couple of pairs I can still wear but they're beginning to look ludicrous) but everything in the shops seems to be cropped or ruffled to dirty-look or glitter or pink or all of the above. ick ick ick.

Date: 2002-07-10 09:11 am (UTC)Ooh, I'm not very good with the names of colours, but purple was wrong. It was kind of lilacy/fuschia, I thinkm round-necked top and a long plain cut. Quite simple looking.
Monsoon is always lovely, but *far* beyond my means at the moment even if they have a sale, which is a shame.
I've only ever window-shopped, so I've never paid much attention to the prices! The fairygodmother corset is certainly cool. It might be worth trying out Cathouse if you're in Liversedge (I can't look up the details at work), they do corsets, I'm sure, though I doubt they're as exciting as the fairy-godmother ones.

I can't say I really fancy corset shopping while I'm at my parents' :-) But I've found their webpage and I've defnitely added it to me drool list :-)

Date: 2002-07-21 09:18 am (UTC)Unfortunately the dress is just beginning to be too big, like much of the rest of my wardrobe, but never mind it's worth it :-)
