So as dates go I think we could probably count that one a success. So the film we wanted to see had actually finished the previous day, and when we picked another one a little later and went to find dinner while we waited we ended up taking too long over a rather nice meal and missing the film. But hey, it was more the company than the film I was interested in anyway. Went back to his for coffee instead, and had an absolutely lovely lovely lovely evening.

... and if you had a party bag from Simes' birthday party: beware! The unlabelled yellow condoms are banana flavour. At least the mint ones have the decency to warn you on the labelling.

Coloured condoms: bad idea. Green and black especially. Yellow isn't much better.
Flavoured condoms: bad idea. They all taste of lube. Slightly oddly flavoured lube, but lube, nonetheless.

Pubs are inherently good, sex is inherently good: they don't need to be tarted up, coloured and fruit-flavoured and generally be made "FUN", FFS!

Well, sex is indeed (usually) inherently good, but condoms do tend to detract from that somewhat for me (I know some people who prefer to use them, but I'm much happier without where sensible). I can sort of slightly see the point of wanting to take your mind of what horrid things they are to some extent. But I'm pretty sure colours and flavours aren't the way to do it.

Anyway you could have used the sensible ones :-P

If you do wish to tart up sex, I think jam or chocolate sauce are the way to go.
I still have two whisky-flavoured condoms, you know. I suspect they're out of date, but even if they were in date I wouldn't use them for fear of what whisky-flavoured lube tastes like. Or the thought of alcohol on mucous membranes...

I tend to go for dressing up rather than flavourings. Starting with ribbons or stockings and working up...
