I also remember G&Ds - but I suspect it was a very different occasion to the one you were thinking of, BoPeep; I once posted I was popping back to Oxford and that it would be nice to see people. Accordingly, I have always been very grateful ever since towards the only people who turned up to see me at that point, who were imc and lnr.
lnr is capable of truly remarkable things.
If I were alone in a room with lnr, I would like to get to know her a lot better.
I think lnr should keep playing Tantrix as long as it entertains her.
lnr needs pleasant surprises from time to time, much as we all do</>. (I dislike this question - I feel I am really in no position to answer it specifically for you.)

That last is a funnier comment than you might have intended... The occasion I am thinking of is way back in January 1997 IIRC, when I first met LNR IRL at a Pratchett signing at Blackwells.
