Minor frustrations
Nov. 4th, 2020 01:47 pm- Bike shop is open, and we could drop them off for a service on Saturday (or even have them collected) but they're taking up to a week to do the work, so we'd not be able to get to school. Postponed until they're less busy, or the school hols.
- GP did the medication review for my Sertraline on Tuesday, but it hasn't yet got through to my repeat prescription notes, so I've wasted time today chasing for it unnecessarily. Need to re-order on 16th for 20th. Annoyingly Metformin and Sertraline prescriptions will be out of sync, meaning more trips to the chemist.
- Need for FP92A to claim prescription charges exemption (diabetes not treated by diet alone) - after some to-ing and fro-ing - they have the form in reception, so I guess I have to go pick one up?
- JL said they'd pass my concern on to the Cambridge branch and someone would be in touch "as soon as possible in the next 48-72 hours" (slightly paraphrased). It's been 49 hours. I have made a note in my calendar to ring them up and give them hell at 12:40 tomorrow.
- And there's a couple of things missing around the house (small USB cable, hair trimmer attachment) that I don't particularly *need* but it's bugging me that I can't find them.
None of these are particularly important or urgent in the grand scheme of things, but I feel a bit like all my adulting attempts are being foiled!
