Over 2 months!

Doesn't time fly! Quick post this time. Been a quiet fortnight mostly, but we've had visits from Lindsey and Uncle Pete, have been out for lunch with he NCT group and cake with Ed and Lucy, and we had another nice walk up to the Gogs and Wandlebury. Today was Matthew's first jabs - and he was very brave - but has been alternating sleeping and crying this afternoon poor lamb. Hopefully he'll feel better soon. And we did get a nice cuppa and cake in the deli this morning too.

For the future I'm hoping to pop into the beer festival for lunch tomorrow, and am looking forward to Steph, Dave and the kids visiting at the bank holiday weekend. I also have an appointment to have a coil fitted next Friday morning (the 31st) and if anyone would like to come and visit and keep baby company for 20 minutes for me in exchange for lunch in Shelford I'd be very grateful!

Boobing works as well though ime :) And then chocolate buttons when they get older :)

Interesting: the nurse doing the immunisations obviously wasn't up on that particular research because she recommended it too.

Interesting, I've never ever heard that either from anyone and was also recommended to give Calpol by the nurse and doctor!

And it doesn't mention Ibuprofen, so I guess you could give Calprofen for the 12 and 16 week vaccinations... (if needed, not suggesting giving it just because!).

Hmm it doesn't sound like that study was using the paracetamol in the way I was recommended! They suggested one dose if needed if baby became feverish - not several doses over 24 hours regardless. I'm probably going to stick with the actual medical advice rather than worry about the results of one fairly small scale study. Though the study could certainly indicate a need for more research.

I think I need to find him a pair of trousers that fits better - and Tshirts still scrunch up irritatingly when you pick him up - but he does have several rather cute ones!

Trying to think where we might find a proper enormous hot choc with cream... Some research needed here too ;)
