*giggle* - bump at 39 weeks

Asked Mike to take a bump pic for me. Took us a couple of attempts to find the right angle. This resulted in the following bright idea:

I'm not sure I'd describe anything as a waist there! I go in above and below the bump, but I definitely go out where I used to have my actual waist! Up from around 31 inches to over 42.

I guess it is all to the front, rather than at sides though, if that's what you mean.

From the back, you still have a waist. You won't measure like you have a waist, because of the bump, but you still have shape.

I see what you mean then - I *have* been watching my weight to make sure I don't gain too much, but I think it is one of those things where the extra fat you do need goes on in different places in different people. It's funny really, because I don't have a hugely well defined waist compared to a lot of people when not pregnant!
