Now you've actually managed to come up with that I've never actually heard of there. Does the "kaiser" have a geographical link? I could imagine it being a German cheesy roll.

It's a common term ere for a largish, usually crusty, roll that one might use for burgers.

I think to be a kaiser it should have a sort of pinwheel shape, seeds on top are also typical.
