I wonder if that's a region specific thing? Most of the time, I've only seen it sold as a whole (or two or more halves to make it package better), but I'm from an area where you don't get them in your local shops, only from the big supermarkets.

Oh, and I am also more used to potato farls anyway. Mmmmmmm.

To be honest I just think of soda bread and potato bread and wouldn't normally call either of them farls. I do like a bit of soda and a bit of wheaten and some potato bread with the rest of my ulster fry...

And probably not to the quiz. If we get out to the pub we'll be looking for one with the footy on, but I suspect we'll stay in, we've been knackered all this week again. And the Carlton is *so* far away ;-)
