Harrumph. Well now I know why it looked like only 1 mile on the route map to the rest/mechanic point at Roydon. They've drawn the blob on Nazeing instead of on Roydon. And Nazeing was indeed about a mile from the breakdown because that's the bit we did at walking pace. Oh well.

Well this time the map is south of Cambridge but it stops at Much Hadham.

I got it to work with a few tweaks. I suspect Firefox doesn't like Google's Javascript much. I know the middle section of that route rather well. It's through the area we used to go for bike rides in when I was a kid.

Coincidences get scarier. [livejournal.com profile] livredor used to live in one of the houses that were built on part of my old school's playing fields and where I more than likely played rugby and cricket.

Only one bit was Cornwall grade, I thought, and all the climbs were quite short.
