With thanks to jpmg for recommending Gphoto2 (I'd not even thought of free software at the point I realised my camera needed software to talk to it over USB), those of you who wish to can now see what my finger looks like.

Date: 2006-03-07 12:08 pm (UTC)Doesn't really hurt unless you bump it, and is just beginning to itch some of the time. I can get gloves over it now, it was only the first day or two I couldn't. And it's just as well if I want any washing up done. Mike kindly washed while I dried on Sunday.

Date: 2006-03-08 09:42 am (UTC)b) Ah right, I see the difference between my injuries - I reckon part of the reason I ended up needing stitches was that mine was by the second joint rather than near the fingertip. I'll try to remember to brandish my finger menacingly at you when next I see you so we can compare war wounds :)
