Mozilla grumbles
Dec. 17th, 2002 11:58 amIs this better? Yes it is!
From the bug report
reddragdiva pointed me at it's clear that setting Mozilla to use my colours and so on rather than those specified by the document solves the problem of text entry being ridiculously slow on LJ. How silly.
Of course it *looks* absolutely vile, and it'll be a pain turning it on and off all the time, but hell, it's a reasonable workaround while I hope for them to fix it.
Not too cold in here today. Still tired cos I didn't sleep well last night. Not sure what I'm doing over the next couple of days, hopefully seeing Jan tonight. Hoped the toasted sandwich maker at work would use wholemeal bread but it turns out to be white. I can see myself gradually totting up extra sins this week: around 10 over so far, and I intend to help rjk celebrate being older tomorrow too. Oh well.

Date: 2002-12-17 04:35 am (UTC)The only thing that'll catch me out is moving tabs in the wrong direction when I close one, which is less of a nuisances than turning colours on and off all the time.

Date: 2002-12-17 05:38 am (UTC)The Mozilla stuff reminds me -- I don't suppose you (or anybody else who's reading this!) know how to change the size of the font in the text-entry box in Opera, do you? Only that's what I'm using at home for LJ and the font comes out in about 9pt, very hard to read. I don't really want to have to go back to using IE just for that!
(Can't remember what version of Opera I'm using -- whatever's the latest version for the Mac.)
