So I've got tickets for the following already:

  • 2006-01-10 OK Go, The Metro Club, Soho
  • 2006-01-30 Richard Thompson, Cornex
  • 2006-02-03 Bauhaus, Brixton Academy
  • 2006-03-18 Sultans of Ping, Garage, London
  • 2005-04-07 Less Than Jake, Astoria
  • 2005-04-21 Whitby Goth Weekend (well ok, just the cottage so far, but I *will* do)
  • 2006-05-07 MFATGG, Astoria
  • 2006-08-25 Reading Festival

Ernie and I are trying to get hold of tickets for the NME tour, and thinking of doing one and possibly two Reel Big Fish gigs:

  • 2006-01-27 ? RBF, peterborough
  • 2006-02-12 ? NME awards tour, Cornex
  • 2006-02-21 ? RBF, electric ballroom

So obviously I need tickets for more gigs right? Wanna join me for any of the following? [Poll #647647]

Ah, and APU have updated their gigs list finally, looks like they plan to have an indie band followed by indie club every Thursday, with the following confirmed:

  • 2006-01-26 The Kooks
  • 2006-02-02 Rainstar
  • 2006-02-09 The Modern
  • 2006-02-16 Big Head Media
  • 2006-02-23 Wolfmother
  • 2006-03-09 ¡Forward Russia!

I really quite fancy seeing The Modern again actually, so comment if you fancy that one, and I've at least heard of ¡Forward Russia! so that might be worth checking out.

I've managed to fail to see the Broken Family Band about 3 times now. It'd be nice to break the jinx ;)

I'm up for The Modern, people keep recommending them.

I've also had a couple of recommendations for the Dresden Dolls, but seeing as it's so far off (also, gig prices often hurt) I think I'll see whether I can get my hands on some actual music before I commit.

*Might* be along to WGW, too, but it's a bit close to Eastercon so I haven't deceided yet.

Oo! Bauhaus. Might have to get organised for that one too.

Last time I checked the D. Dolls had live videos on their website.

Grumble, grumble, Broken Family Band's on yoga night. Can I break my routine I ask myself :)

I'm half curious about the Dresden Dolls but not quite sure I wouldn't just get annoyed at them being pretentious.
