Today it's instant messaging, specifically Google's variant. And hey I got it working at work with their client and at home with Gaim. Not tried that before. Anyone is welcome to try talk to eleanorb@gmail.com.

Well I tried, but the bit what threw me is that you don't get to add people to your freinds list until they agree, so I may have sent you a couple of requests. I find that side of it a little odd coming from the world of iChat/AIM.
