Hat

I crocheted a hat. It's a bit big really, and uneven as my tension's a bit wobbly. But hey, it's a hat.

Pictures here. I'll probably gradually add more stuff to this particular gallery, and I've whittled down the knitted top ones a bit.

Not of the quality seen elsewhere, but not bad for on timer mode sitting on the windowsill :-)

Where does tension come into it? Is it a question of how tight you pull the wool after you've made a stitch or is there something more complicated involved?

Tension in crochet is the same as in knitting I think. And it's more to do with how tight you hold the wool *while* you're doing the stitch. Though for a beginner it's hard to tell the difference.
