Feel good about yourself on days you get it right, be prepared to write off days you don't (but don't rely on being able to do that very often if ever). And don't rely on weekly measurements for motivation too much, as if you do you'll find yourself losing all motivation the first time you try hard for a week and random weight variation causes it to go up rather than down.
