Enough hacking on the CV, it will do as it is now.

Party last night was fun, cake was much appreciated, though nowhere near as excitingly decorated as the one Jenn and Matthew brought (should I call him Matt, when everyone but Mike apparently does these days?). Purple hair went down well too. I *really* like it anyway, and that's what mattered. Only thing that marred the evening was being sick once I'd tried to go to bed. Not good. Time to take dodgy stomach to doctors, since it clearly wasn't overindulgence in alcohol (two glasses of white wine) and the colour was distinctly alarming (really quite red, which wouldn't worry me if I'd been drinking red wine but in the circumstances is a bit worrying).

Nice lie-in this morning, though managed to get up before it got dark for a change. And Mike came over to ours to watch the third Back to the Future film this afternoon, so we could finally give him the boxed set back. Been working on CV and cooking and eating dinner since. Time to curl up ion the bath for a little now perhaps. And give my mum a ring. Think I could do with a nice early night.

Before, bread and coleslaw and cheese and cooked meat. During cake and pringles. Wasn't throwing up anything solid.

As for colour, it was hard to tell in the dim bathroom light but looked pretty bright. Could have just been bile I guess, but, well... I decided it didn't need immediate attention but it's worth talking to a GP about.

Still got acidy feeling in gullet, seem to have had that on and off for weeks now, but it's been pretty non-stop today.

Even if it nothing to worry about (and I'm sure it isn't) seeing a doctor will mean you *don't* worry about it, so that's prolly a good plan.

Bile can have a certain reddishness to its colour which can look alarmingly like blood; but unless it's bright crimson it's unlikely to actually be blood. If you have an ulcer, you might bring up partially digested blood which looks very much like fresh coffee grounds.

Sorry for the disgusting TMI - but having spent one day vomiting so hard I tore my stomach lining enough to bring up fresh blood, and having recurring trouble with a stomach ulcer, I've kind of gotten used to what vomited blood looks like and which kind is the sort to necessitate a trip in an ambulance....

Ah, but you forget the power my influence has. When I'm around even Jenn calls him Matthew most of the time.
