As rjk has said elsewhere the weekend was good, but the trip back was appalling. Leaving him with only 20 mins turnaround once we got home before he had to be heading out to interview at nCipher. This is not really condusive to lack of stress unfortunately. We did have a lovely time and lots of nice food in France however, and once we've calmed down again we'll probably deem the whole thing to have been a success.

BTW if anyone has a spare LJ invite code there's a friend of mine looking for one.

Sorry, the confirmation email got caught in my spam-filter at home, so I was only able to activate the account this morning.

Is this better?

Yes, throw the Foundation saga in the bin (esp. the later ones, and most especially the very late, deperately trying to tie the various timelines together before he dies, ones) and read the robot stuff instead.

Daneel, for a more useful response than ... ah, rjk's, is a robot that outwardly appears perfectly human. Why I would choose this is left as an exercise for the reader.

And besides, montag was taken. ;)
