Shades of purpley blue

The latest meme says I am lavender. According to the paint tin though my hands are largely "making waves" - what a silly name for a paint colour. It's a nice blue anyway. Somewhere round about this. Thankfully I have applied only a small amount to my hands compared to the large amount applied to the remaining skirting boards and door frame. It's looking pretty nice. Not long before we can put the room back together and go back to sleeping in it :-)

Edit: Have now started on the bedside units too. They're going to look really nice, even if they do make it take long to finish.

That's quite similar to what we have in our bedroom. I think it's meant to be 'pale lavender' and the bookcases are 'very pale lavender' but for accuracy you may need to delete the first pale and the very - short of going to look at the paint tubs I couldn't be sure. It goes nicely with both a blue duvet cover and an amethyst one, anyway, which is the main thing. We have a bunch of blue and purple things on the wall (including some lavender stuff) and I must get around to finishing my lavender cross-stitch (started in December 2001) before we get bored and paint the room a different colour. ;-)

The walls are painted `lavender'. One day when we wanted more paint you were convinced that it was `pale lavender' so we bought some, and since it turned out to be the wrong one for the wall you painted the bookcases with it.
