Birthdays

A couple of my friends are having birthdays in the near future, and I just had to ask one of them to remind me what day it was on because I couldn't remember, just that it was the 2mumbleth of September. As a result I've decided to keep a birthday book (plain text file:-). So if you want me to remember your birthday let me know when it is, preferably including year so I can embarrass you when you reach significant numbers.

Ah, I've been keeping a .birthdays file for a little while now, and my login script runs birthday (which is in Debian) to prod me to go buy a card :)

*grin* I should have said I'd already snarfed all those who were in my friends list and had their full birthdays listed.

People can feel free to mail me if they don't want to make it public.

Must investigate that - though I usually end up remembering the birthday itself anyway but forgetting to get a card. (Bubble-headed soprano, moi?)
