Shadows - photo a day

Matthew is 9 months old today - we spent it mostly pottering round the house and with a trip out to the library without the camera. I have several nice pictures of him, but wanted to post this instead - a set of nice shadows and reflected light on wall behind the Christmas tree. Small things which catch your eye and just want to be photographed, even if they're hard to capture quite as you see them at the time. Christmas cake iced after he went to bed, and finished watching the last episode of Battlestar Galactica with Mike. Wonder what we'll rent next? And now it's the weekend and hopefully I'll have time to make mince pies.
