Second night in a row sleeping badly. Yesterday I worked from home and slept between the routine stuff. Today I got even less sleep and have just mailed in sick instead, but told James I want to talk to him if possible tomorrow. This is just ridiculous.

I'd suggest trying to avoid naps during the day, 'cos they fiddle with your body's sleep cycle.

http://www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk/SelfHelp/symptoms/sleepingproblemsinsomnia/start.asp might be a good place to start looking for tips (though I imagine you've seen most of them already)
