God what a morning

Drag self out of bed, and blearily look through morning's usual set of webpages at around 8:30, to find out from BBC of all sources that new and virulent virus exists. Since then have been chasing it up like mad, making sure people know about it, finding examples and writing exim filters. The latter is finally done and I can take a deep breath and have breakfast. And then I probably ought to drag myself into the office, when I'd rather just go back to bed. Why *today* when I slept badly last night?

The virus was mentioned late last night on the Register and SlashDot - looks like its designed to attack SCO's web site.

The Full Disclosure list was talking about it during yesturday as well; from comments there and from what I've seen appear in my inbox this virus could well be worse than SoBig.F :(

Yet another spamming virus is tiresome and annoying... but I must admit I had a chuckle when I read about the SCO attack angle.
