Bloody hell

No wonder none of my size 12 and 14 clothes fit. By the tape measure and all the size charts I've been able to find for UK clothes my hips are a size 16-18. Worse my waist's a size 20-22 and my bust is 22-24. WTF?! (44, 37, 46 inches respectively). Wondering if I've had the tape measure wonky now. Though IME that usually results in smaller numbers not bigger.

Most sizing charts are several years out of date, and I usually seem to be a size smaller than they claim I should be.

I'm with Christi - my waist size regularly comes out at 20 or higher and my hips as at least an 18 on size charts, but I'm a high-street 16 almost everywhere.

That sounds bizarre given how much lighter than me you are (over three stone) - we're the same height. I'm wearing anything from 16-22 (the higher sizes on the top thanks to breastfeeding) and my measurements are something like 49-41-46 now. I'm very bloated today though, I think my waist is normally a bit smaller.

They're not *that* big, I seem to have a pretty broad chest under them too.
