Progress

Slight stress headache, or possibly just tiredness, but work is going well. Feeling pretty positive about it at the moment, hope it can last. Lunch with rjk was nice, and we've even decided which tent we're going to buy for Glasto (a 3 man one, which will give us a little extra room, for not much extra baggage, and not much extra cost). Going to see "How to lose a guy in 10 days" tonight, which looks like romantic comedy fluff but about the best of what's on at a sensible time (there are a couple of other things on at the Arts but they look too down in outlook for my mood at the moment). Should be enjoyable anyway. And then probably an early night if we can manage it.

It is - I saw it a couple of weeks ago (http://www.livejournal.com/~glitterboy1/21361.html). But definitely worth seeing, for either or both of the torments he gets put through, and the repeated sight of Matthew McConaughey's bod - depending on your tastes, obviously. :-) Beware the first 10-15 minutes: I thought they were awful, but it got a lot better after that.

Oh I didn't mind the beginning too much, but the end was all a bit pred. Well they have to be in this sort of film I guess but. Awww and the little love fern. I'd have rather seen the last Knicks game.

He's cute enough. Bit too pretty macho boy for my tastes maybe, but just enough cute smiley eyes and tousled hair to get away with it. And she's just a bit too thin, but great in jeans and tshirt. I'd have had her friend though, the sassy one not the dippy one mind. *ahem* Not many other cute men. Interesting how there's eye candy all over the place if you're into girls, but otherwise you're presumably just supposed to go all gooey over the lead and just get tied up in the wonderful romance of it all. ick.

Anyway, made me laugh lots, so it was cool. And I was rather fond of the ugly sisters^W^Wrival ad execs. They were just fabulously nasty.

Hmm, the ending. But it was great fun getting there. And I know what you mean about him, but it's still a v.pleasant surprise when he takes his shirt off... Tell you what, then: I'll take him, you can have the friend.

Agree about the friends, although I think the dippy one may have potential, and would probably improve rapidly once no longer stuck in a romantic comedy.
