The starling above the bathroom is still pleading for its parents to keep feeding it pretty much non-stop. Luckily it's not so audible from the spare room so I was able to catch up on sleep from there at least. Getting a fair bit done from here this afternoon too so that's good. On lighter notes I have corrupted mpinna so he is no longer the Mike-with-no-LJ, am vaguely considering trying modelling for http://www.suicidegirls.com (not work friendly) if they want us.

Back to class tonight having skived off last week. Have been perfect since Tuesday morning but know I'll still have put on weight since I was last there. Am definitely fatter as well as heavier too, clothes are getting bulgier again and my double chin's showing more too. Do need to catch it before it gets any further. Beer fest next week will make this harder, but I am resolved again, which should help. So no beer at the pub tonight anyway.

Once those starlings have grown up and fled the nest you will have to decide between two sorts of conservation: to conserve birds, leave the hole in your eaves; to conserve your house, fill it in!

Have a feeling we will be conserving the house and our sleep. Couldn't see any obvious hole from ground level this morning though...
