Still ill

I'm forcing myself to stay awake til at least 11 or so, that way a) I can have another dose of cough medecine before trying to sleep and b) I'm more likely to be tired enough to sleep straight through. Having a nice long nap this afternoon seems to have made me feel rather more human, which is just as well really, as I was beginning to get to the tearing my hair out stage just from the frustration of being so tired.

When is a cold worth seeing a doctor about? Steph and rjk have been bullying me a little today, but I still feel that even if it's a pretty nasty one I still basically just have a cold, and that wrapping up warm, getting plenty of sleep and fluids, and using an OTC cough mixture to handle the symptoms is going to be as effective as anything the doctor can suggest.

I guess I do need a repeat prescription at some point in the next fortnight anyway, so I might as well go, but I'm not convinced it's worth it. Whatever I'm certainly determined that even if I feel infinitely better tomorrow I'm *not* going to work. I'd only end up making myself worse again.

Steph's getting the train back up to Leeds tomorrow, and while it's been nice having her to stay in some ways I won't be sorry to see her go. I do feel a bit bad for being too ill to socialise much with her today when she's going so soon.

I don't know if your cold will have the same prognosis as mine, but you seem to be about a day behind me (which might mean I gave it to you, sorry if I did), I did dispair on Friday and infinite sleep on Saturday.

Anyway, if so, I feel a lot better today (though still like death warmed up). Also, appologies if there're strange things that look like Devenagri Unicode characters in this comment, its just that I keep on sneezing on my monitor. :) (TMI, I know!).
