Things on my mind
Aug. 25th, 2021 01:23 pmRubbish driving by other people, and how (entirely unsurprisingly) ranting about it on the local Facebook group and asking the few idiots to be more considerate immediately leads to being told a) don't cycle two abreast on a busy road and b) don't cycle on this busy road at all with an 8 year old, when we're just trying to get into the village to holiday club.
Dietician appointment in half an hour - my diet has been rubbish the last few weeks, I know I'm eating too much stuff that's bad for me (being diabetic too much simple carbs sends my blood sugar too high - probably) but I'm craving it all the time.
Covid is still scary, even double vaxxed I worry about the people who aren't - including Matthew! And of course he goes back to school last week.
I'm worrying about whether I'll get an interview for the job I applied for. Even though I know they said they'd probably take a fortnight to short-list due to lots of staff leave. I'm also not getting as much work done as I want to at the moment.
Still trying to do 11.5K steps a day to reach a million by end of September. Still on track, but it's taking up huge chunks of my spare time, and it's a bit boring. Trying Zombies Run (in particular their 5K training) again, for first time since 2017. Keeping an eye on my knees. I think this is taking up nearly all my brain though, which is making everything else harder.
I am however looking forward to seeing mum and dad this weekend, and a whole week off work.
