Herons - photo a day
Dec. 6th, 2013 02:57 pmToday we popped to Addenbrookes for a visit to the nursery there, which we're considering for Matthew (though admittedly they don't think they'll have a place available immediately). When we came out again and looked up the bus times it turns out we had 17 minutes to wait, so I took the opportunity to take the buggy for a little walk down to the busway under Long Road to take a snap of this lovely bit of graffiti. It's the most elaborate so far of a series of black herons which I've now spotted four or five of around the place. I'm keeping my eye out for more!

Where else have you found ones?

That one is what inspired me to try and collect them, he made me laugh so much.
I passed another on the grey box by the pedestrian crossing nearby on Long Road today, and I'm sure I saw one in Cherry Hinton somewhere from the bus the other week.
