Please help!

Tonight we met a very lovely Dutch band called "Skip the Rush" who played some great music at the Junction, and later signed our copies of their setlist. They're here for the next 3 days with no more gigs lined up and were feeling worried they'd be bored, so seeing as I have tomorrow off work we suggested they meet us for lunch in the park, and play some tunes. Which they thought was a cool idea - so long as we can find them a couple of acoustic guitars. So please please please if you've got one do come and join us.

12 noon and thereafter, Jesus Green, just off lower park street. I'll be the one with the tiger striped blanket.

And do pass it on to anyone you think might be free, even if it's just for half an hour over lunch.

It occurred to me this morning that if you can't find any from among friends etc. it might be worth trying Ken Stevens music shop (the one opposite Tatties in Sussex Square - 01223 367758), or one of the other guitar shops (there's one on King Street, one on Mill Road, not sure where else...) & seeing if they'd lend a couple of guitars for the sake of some free publicity...

There isn't one on King St any more - it closed down a fortnight ago.
