I've had a dormant account here for ages, but am currently in the process of importing my old LJ content, and will be blogging here primarily in future.

Is that more or less so than any other blogging platform?

There are no blogging platforms I regularly login to. I read most things via Feedly (which I moved to when Google killed Reader) which I like because I can read across multiple platforms and by default it only shows me things I haven't read. I could use it to subscribe to the various things I read here, but then I'd miss non-public posts.
