Thngs that made me smile today

Seeing a Stobart lorry on the way to work.

A great band busking at lunchtime outside Boots: 2 leccy guitars, one acoustic and a drummer on a big bongo. Great covers including "Sweet Home Alabama", "Where is my mind?" and "Street Spirit". Shame they broke a couple of strings between them and had to stop.

I saw them, they were great. I wished I had a venue so I could book them for it.

Yeah, they were good enough to keep me in town while I ate my lunch, when I'd been planning to just head back to the office. Well worth the few quid I gave them :-)

I wonder if that was the same band who were busking on Saturday? They were pretty wicked, Mark and me stopped to watch for a bit.. nothing in the way of identification other than a phone number..
