Saw this as a meme somewhere, I forget where. Took me a while, but I've been through my friends list, and picked a userpic from each one. Sometimes it's the prettiest, sometimes it's the one I think represents them best, sometimes it's the only available one. In each case it's somehow my favourite.

Hmm. An anastamosis is when you join a body tube to a thing it wasn't joined to in the first place (either another one or to the outside, usually). It doesn't really specify what tube it is.

I lose track of who's who (oldbloke has the same trouble). Some of us discussed who it might be (http://www.livejournal.com/community/uk_misc/5983.html?thread=28767#t28767), and I'm pretty sure it's Elvis Notargiacomo (which may not be his/her real name). I have a feeling that isn't Anna Olson (there's a name from the past!), though I may be wrong.

It might be good to make the images link to the diaries so that people can find out who each image is meant to represent.
