Interesting post and comments on the subject of crushes here: http://www.livejournal.com/users/beckyc/216187.html

As I say there I do tend to think it must be pretty obvious who I fancy. Curious to see if I'm right though. And if I'm asking the one question I might as well ask the inverse :-) [Poll #333876]

Edit: Dammit, that wasn't meant as fishing. *blushes* Seriously, I'm interested in who you actually do think fancies me at the moment, not in flattery, even if it's meant as sincere flattery, IYSWIM.

Answer to both is "Anyone with a brain."

(grin).

Ooh, can you? Didn't know that.

Presumably you do it by clicking on the "Poll #8658345" link, then explicitly selecting "Fill Out Poll" and re-submitting?

(That seems fairly obvious now I know it's possible, but it wouldn't have occurred to me to try it before...)

Just a shame that mechanism doesn't let you retract your answers completely. I don't remember ever messing up a poll so that I wanted to re-submit, but there was a poll I filled in recently and then realised it had been explicitly aimed at a subset of humanity which didn't include me, so I wanted to un-submit...

If it's a type-in then you can effectively un-submit by clearing the box and submitting, as you then won't show up on the list of answers. Similarly, clearing all tickyboxes has the same effect. With radiobutton it's more difficult, but I suspect that if you were able to nobble the form (by editing the source, perhaps) to uncheck the selected button then this would have the desired effect.

Submitting a poll with no answers does have its uses - it means you get to see the poll results with fewer mouse clicks. :-)

I'm sorry, I didn't really have a useful answer, so I went with a descriptive answer. Except that that winds up with 'people who fancy LNR fancy people who are like LNR' which is less than helpful.
