The "arty" lighting effects were rather more obvious in the Miami/NY crossover than usual -- they're rather on the borderline between cool and tacky. (What I'm talking about here is how Miami locations are shot in a orange light/with light orange filter, and the NY ones were similarly coloured blue/grey, or just decoloured. Then you get the weird effect when Horatio walks into the NY crime scene, and he is given Miami colouring....)
