How frustrating is it when you fix a puncture yourself to realise that the hole i the tyre is big enough that you're going to have to replace that too. Toddled off and left it at Drakes and they've managed to find a couple of sizes of mudguard to try fitting too, since I really do need new mudguards. Pick it up tomorrow. Now I just have to work out how best to do both slimming world and pub this evening without a bike to get around on. I doubt they'll want to go to the pike and eel two weeks running unfortunately, so I ma be in for a long walk.

You might be able to boot the tyre, unless it's a huge hole.
