We're back, in one piece, muddier and more sunburned than when we left, and I for one had a great time, despite the weather. We saw lots of bands, at lots of different stages, drank perry, ate lots of different food, I saw a wedding in the lost vagueness chapel of love and loathing, we wandered up to the Stone Circle and around the various stalls and sculptures of the Green Fields and the rest of the site. Full review to follow.

*perk* Stalls? How do you think my fat chick torsos and masks would do there? Or is it not that kind of stalls?

Happy to know you had a great time, Eleanor. But it's not the same without Hawkwind and/or the Edgar Broughton Band performing outside on the back of a flatbed truck! Bloody commercialism (he says, tut-tutting just like [livejournal.com profile] oldbloke)

Ah, Edgar Broughton...
I don't suppose you were at the Bath festival when it was held at the Shepton Mallet showground in (thinks) '70 ? (unless I mean 71...)
