Some things
Nov. 3rd, 2021 09:37 pmWe had a lovely weekend at Evan and Gina's - drew lots of Halloween pictures, visited Goodrich Castle and King Arthur's Cave, and Clearwell Caves and went for a spooky walk in the woods after dark. It was so good to see them.
Home on Monday afternoon to the new playground at Shelford Rec which was an absolute hit. We've been waiting for months, but he was thrilled with it.
Woke on Tuesday to child feeling, and then being, sick, so no school for two days. I've been working from home almost as productively as when he's at school, and he's been having a pretty nice time, because he's been fine since roughly lunchtime yesterday. Mike had a migraine last night but is much recovered, so with luck we'll *all* be back to normal tomorrow.
We've caught and relocated three mice from the loft to the woodland a short cycle away, and hopefully they will have no cause to find their way back.
And I've just booked my covid booster for Friday!
