Flowers - photo a day

Today's post was snapped in the garden while I nipped out to top up the bird feeders while Matthew naps - once I've posted it I should probably have a bit of a lie-down on the sofa myself. A rather confused polyanthus in our back garden. I gather there's a lot of it around at the moment, though the adjacent primrose is so far at least still believing in autumn. Not the best focus, but it will do.
