Quiet day

Quietest of quiet days actually. Stomach playing up again last night, so when rjk got up I went back to bed (having slept in the spare room so as not to disturb him too much). Didn't wake again til he rang to say they were back from successful grading and was I coming over to join them for mince pies. I decided I wasn't. The rest of the day has been pretty lazy. Bit miffed when I tried to run a bath and ran out of hot water, but had a nap instead and then talked to Mike on irc for a bit which cheered me up. Rjk was out in the evening again, but Mike already had plans and I didn't feel like getting him to invite me along too, so I had a pleasant evening with Nethack, the jukebox and (now the hot water was back) a long hot bath and the start of the 5th Harry Potter (since I've yet to read it in English). My valk Perditax is now happily just the far side of the Castle clutching a wand of wishing in her greasy paws and wondering exactly what she's going to use it for. A good time to stop and go to bed. Still feeling slightly unsettled as far as digestion goes, but I'm sure it will pass.
