Ranty

Want to go argh and rant a bit about life and stuff but it's just pointless, so I'll rant about insignificant stuff instead, it's nearly as cathartic and probably won't hurt or worry anyone in the process.

I think today I'm going to do silly pointless things like dyeing my hair and eating sausages and steak just because I can. Because it's Sunday and the house is clean and shiny and I have nothing that needs to be done and just need to remind myself that just because it's Monday and back to work tomorrow I still have the rest of today to have fun if I can and do whatever the hell I like with my time. Stupid weekends, wear yourself out on Friday night celebrating the weekend and by Sunday morning the week is already looming despite the fact there's loads of weekend left.

*giggle*

Just finished Mil Millington's "Things my girlfriend and I have argued about" to collapse in fits of giggles and incredulity by the end of it. The whole thing is utterly utterly daft and really rather charming.

Next on the to-finish-reading pile are half of Gaiman's "Smoke and Mirrors" short story collection, almost all of Mieville's "King Rat", and most of "Catch 22". The latter might get skipped again though as I've read it before.

In other news I seem to be rapidly running out of tact and diplomacy, for which I can only apologise.
