shiny:dopey
Oct. 20th, 2002 06:34 pmDunno why but there's something really satisfying about a clean shiny kitchen. At least all the washing up is done now, we don't usually let it get that bad. Cooking something chickeny for dinner, not quite sure what yet. I have a suspicion it may involve garlic and fromage frais though.
Lots of things I haven't done this weekend, but I've had a very dopey sort of day, spent half the afternoon asleep. Seems to be happening a lot lately. Hope it doesn't stop me sleeping properly tonight. It would nice to get to the end of next week feeling bright and fresh instead of shattered for a change.

2 chickken breast, 250g mushroom, 4 cloves garlic, 175ml white wine, 2-3 tablespoons fromage frais. Yum.
( what I did )
The result tasted lovely, though the fromage frais curdled as it does which made the texture somewhat odd. Next time I may just add it at the end instead of during the cooking. Using cream would work better probably, but might taste a bit too rich. Defininitely one to remember.
