Of talk with James: recommendation to see my GP and be signed off work until next week's psychologist appointment.

Of visit from dad: nice Christmas/birthday presents from Emily: a lovely Escher coffee table book and some Le Creuset square oven-proof poterie dishes. And a nice if quick curry out before he dashed off to Norwich.

Of shopping trip: slippers, dressing gown, new skirt, hair dye, and lunch. But no birthday present for sister.

Of hair dye: The black bits are still black but now the roots are a bright auburn colour rather than brown.
