Just told rjk my dream from this morning and he thought I should post it here. For soem reason I was watching a row of people sitting on a park bench, an implausibly long one, but that's dreams for you. Some of them were couples, and most of them seemed to have children, either on laps or in pushchairs. At the far right hand end of the bench were one couple, the woman very heavily pregnant and her partner looking down paternally at the creature cradled in her arms. Which on closer inspection turned out to be a very fluffy grey duck. God knows what on earth it might mean. Perhap's [livejournal.com profile] ghoti's dream dictionary has some clues.

A heavily-pregnant woman tends to waddle rather than walk, with the big bulge and shifted centre of gravity it can't be helped. Perhaps that's what the duck represented. Either that or it was actually a cygnet (cf the Ugly Duckling) representing having a beautiful baby.

Do you get clairvoyant dreams about yourself?

I wouldn't trust my dream dictionary

I think all the dreams I've had/have about [livejournal.com profile] dakeyras and [livejournal.com profile] cjwatson can be explained by me having a subconscious Colin fetish. However...

park benches are not in the book. If you were walking alone, apparently somoene will give you a young puppy.
ducks are a sign of good luck (it says)
children are only mentioned if you have them yourself, in whihc case they're good luck.
couples are not mentioned.

So no, nto very helpful, sorry :(
