A rune casting web thingy at http://www.brindy.org.uk/runecaster/ that simonb and ejde both posted recently. Fill in name, DOB, optionally what you're thinking about or a question and click go, and it does the standard 3 runes, one for the past, one for the future, one for the present.
Of course they're supposed to be vague, so you can interpret them in the light of the thing you were thinking of. I fell over laughing so much at the idea of that one for the present situation that I didn't even read the one for the future though.

*hugs*
I just tried casting it for you, and I got a completely different "Present" rune from the one you quoted...
It seems to come out totally different depending on whether you include middle name, which is a bit silly. "I will meet a tall, dark stranger, but only if I don't tell him my middle name." Or something.
Oh I was presuming it had a real random element, like pulling actual stones from a bag would. I don't believe in these things with "real" runes though, never mind with web ones. Tarot cards, runes, the I-ching, even horoscopes I quite enjoy all of them, especially the more complex ones with more room for interpretation, but it's all just a bit of fun to me.
It's reconstructed Proto-Germanic for "joy" (name of the letter w in the runic alphabet) - Old English descendant would be "wynn". It's a little surprising to see reconstructed PrGmc on someone's lj :-)
