Househunting in London

Any friendly londoners out there looking for new housemates? A mate of mine's housemates are finding a place of their own, so he's in need of someone new to share with. Vaguely alternative type. But housetrained. Nice chap.

Timescale? I might be wanting to go back to sharing (somewhere nice, Zone 2/3, south of river) but only with +1, when this place expires... so no earlier than the end of October. Anyone I know?

The contract on my current place expires at the end of September, though at a pinch I could probably find temporary accomodation with friends for a week or two.

Basically I want this (http://www.findaproperty.co.uk/agent.aspx?agentid=5261&opt=prop&pid=327617). Though I realise that in reality it isn't still going to be available by the time I'm in a position to take somewhere.

I'm really not in a rush to move though, my contract suggests there'd be no problem holding over here, so I'm planning to wait for somewhere good to come along. If that's straightaway then hurrah, but if it isn't, no problem either.

The room sounds ideal - I haven't heard back from Alex yet, but it'd be great if I could pop round and have a look. I'm off to Reading this weekend, but I'll be back on Monday.

And, yes, I do know Pete. I knew the two of them from back in Oxford ages ago, but we've stumbled into each other in London quite a few times more recently.

Alex is a Very Good warhammer player. Of the older variety, back in the days when the warhammer company also sold heavy metal records...
