A slight case of overblogging

I sometimes find I can stay unsubscribed from huge-volume newsgroups for nearly 48 hours, if I'm feeling especially virtuous when I start. I should get out of the habit of reading Usenet and Web sites first thing in the morning, and maybe doing real-work if I run out of Usenet ... but it's such a nice habit, warm, comfortably-tailored, and with those perfectly Pavlovian spikes of interest.
