Weekend ahoy
May. 17th, 2003 01:39 pmBit of an odd evening, perhaps because I was neither eating pizza with the others nor drinking. Nice though. Nice ride over in Patricia and nice company and chat. Enjoyed both the poetry and the film, shame that some of us seemed to be too tired to find one or the other interesting though. Sometimes I wonder how much in common my friends really have with each other. Long lie-in this morning, which was nice and just what I needed, now I intend to spend the rest of the day pottering, get a bit of tidying and shopping and cooking done and then parties in the evening. We decided it really wasn't BBQ weather in the end though. Perhaps if it's a bit nicer tomorrow August and I will potter out on the bikes for a bit in the afternoon, that's the vague plan anyway.

Still, we did get to ogle Alicia Silverstone's bum...
