Friday: drinks with MikeS's colleagues in the Eagle, nice.

Saturday: spent making chocolate truffles, then train down to London with MikeS for MBM's excellent Christmas party. Some fun Small World Syndrome moments. And nice to meet fiona_kitty properly *waves*. Food, drink, talk, surfing DVD. Sleep on floor.

Sunday: wake, relaxed morning with coffee and cake. Afternoon in Camden shopping with MikeS. Accidentally bartered myself into owning a skirt. Spent too much money. Over to Brixton for the first night of the XFM winter wonderland, where met up with MikeP. *Excellent* music. Crowds a bit much for me. Finished an hour late, missed last tube at Brixton. Tom kindly stayed up far too late to rescue us, found us busses and a kebab shop, and lent us a very comfy sofa bed and a cat for the night.

Monday: wake, wake Tom v late for work. Potter into Camden with MikeP and meet up with MikeS for lunch and more shopping. Nice food, and christmas presents bought. Over to Brixton again for another top gig. Music less good overall, but I think I had more fun through coping better. Danced like a loon. 10-15 mins after leaving the barrier at the front we were on the tube, via the cloakroom. KX in time for last train home. Turns into bus at Stevenage. No taxis at Cambridge. Asleep at 3:30ish and at desk by 8:30.

Today I are mostly going to be sleepy. But well, *brilliant* weekend.
