Some things make a post
I have a job interview! Friday 17th, so some time to practice and or panic in the meantime.
I had an assessment of my feet/walking at a Perfect Balance clinic last week, and am going back for some massage treatment and to be taught some exercises, which will hopefully help my knees get less annoyed when I walk too much or try running. I've bought some arch-support insoles for my trainers in the meantime.
Matthew's birthday party will be on Saturday, and so far at least two children other than Matthew will be coming. I'm trying not to twitch or start chasing other parents yet.
I've just realised I'm now the most senior person on my team at work until about the 20th. I hope nothing breaks :)
I'm having a stupid argument with Americans about why cup measurements are not ideal *for British people* over on Twitter.
Still doing lots of steps, about 2k behind at the moment with a daily goal of 11400, but should be able to make the million by the end of the month. I've signed up for the Shelford Fun Run on the 26th too, though given knees I currently intend to walk it. It will probably be about half that day's steps.
If I were going to be a superhero, or similar, what should I be?

You may be amused that I decided to go with a nethack inspired Valkyrie.

There's only one superhero that I think it’s worth being, and that’s Liderman — invented by Toby when he was about 4 or 5, and pronounced to rhyme with “Spiderman”. Liderman can fix anything, and sometimes goes around with the Incredible Hulk fixing things that the Hulk has SMASHed.

I love how ignorant yet opinionated Americans are about measurements, especially when they refer to US customary units as "Imperial" :-)

What sort of superhero would you like to be?

(Well, for white middle-class Americans. If the police don't like you, your kitchen scales are "drug paraphenalia", so you don't have kitchen scales, and _that_ makes sense.)
