What to say

Lying in on Saturday til 2pm: very lazy.
Chess against Richard: one game all, could be worse :-)
The incredibles: incredible. And great company to watch it with.
Food at the Zebra: pizza deal is very good value on Saturdays, but the steak was great.
ELOPParty: quiet but pleasant.
Getting up earlier on Sunday: more day to play with.
Bridge: Mike and I lost, but we could have played much worse. Pete did some brilliant No-Trumps play.
Dinner: thanks to Clare for cooking. Yum.
Ezio (http://www.ezio.co.uk/): wow.

More on that last: double wow. That was one seriously entertaining gig. The music was great, the band were having fun and being fun and also very funny, as well as playing their socks off, and blowing all the cobwebs away. We laughed, we danced, we clapped and we sang along loud as we could. And came out smiling. Here's looking forward to next year, and if you get the chance to see them and even vaguely like good old-fashioned bluesy rootsy music then *go*. I might have accidentally bought another CD. Oops.

Who wouldn't be a happy bunny after a weekend like that?

Hmm, I see that Ezio are coming to the Musician in Leicester in a couple of weeks (so are Skinny Molly, another of your favourites). Worth going to, despite the fact that the sound engineer in there is an utter pillock?

Yup,it was a great gig, utterly worth the pain of driving in the FOG.

So, do I go back to Cambridge tomorrow to catch the Buzzcocks, or not...?

And anyone up for The Levellers on 22 February?

that one's pretty scary.

Feh; I'm smiling!
I though it was sorta cute.

Ezio> sounds interesting. Can I borrow?
